This piece is part of the Cheeky collection - mugs for good people who like to say bad words.
Each mug was hand painted, waxed, and then carefully carved before a layer of black underglaze was applied and wiped back. After an initial firing, certain parts were painted with wax again, glazed, speckled with black glaze and fired for a second time at 2167 degrees.
